Selected Papers from the International Conference “Nuclear Energy for New Europe 2007”
Call for Papers
This special issue is comprised of selected, full-length versions of papers presented at the International Conference Nuclear Energy for new Europe 2007 (http://www.drustvo-js.si/port2007). This conference is a traditional annual meeting of professionals from nuclear research and educational institutions, nuclear utilities and regulatory bodies from all European countries. This year it was held in Portorož, Slovenia, from Sept. 10 to 14, with 175 registered participants from 22 countries. There were 138 conference contributions which were divided into the following topics:
- Nuclear renaissance
- Reactor physics
- Thermal hydraulics
- Probabilistic safety analysis
- Severe accidents
- Nuclear fusion
- Nuclear power plant operation
- Nuclear materials
- Radioactive waste
Authors should follow the Science and Technology of Nuclear Installations manuscript format described at the journal site http://www.hindawi.com/journals/stni/. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/, according to the following timetable:
