Thrombosis and Aspirin: Clinical Aspect, Aspirin in Cardiology, Aspirin in Neurology, and Pharmacology of Aspirin
Description
Aspirin is a well-known antiaggregative agent used in human at doses varying from 50 to 500 mg/day to prevent arterial thrombosis, cerebral stroke, or myocardial infarction and to reduce the risk of death in these patients. However, aspirin withdrawal may temporarily increase this risk. Dose selectivity of ASA towards platelet and vascular cyclooxygenase raised the question to know what dose is to be used to enhance its beneficial therapeutic effect.
We invite investigators to contribute original articles, review articles, case reports, and clinical studies related to all aspects of thrombosis and aspirin. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
- Clinical aspect
- Aspirin in cardiology
- Aspirin in neurology
- Pharmacology of aspirin
Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal's Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/thromb/guidelines/. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/ according to the following timetable:
