Effect of BH4 on iNOS protein expression, nitrite accumulation, and O 2 production in RAW 264.7 cells. Cells were incubated with one of the essential NOS cofactors, BH4 in the presence of DMEM media containing 400 μM of L-arginine. iNOS protein expression in cell lysates, accumulation of nitrite (a), and O 2 production in cell supernatants (b) were determined after 24 h of cell incubation with LPS (50 ng/mL).
