Effects of EM on intracellular ALP activity in MC3T3 cells. PMMA-challenged MC3T3 cells were cultured in 24-well plate at 2 × 10⁵ cells/well. Cells were treated with EM (0–10 μg/mL) for 14 days. This assay was performed three times, each with duplicate samples. ^∗𝑃<0.05 versus control (cell alone); ^∗∗𝑃<0.05 for PMMA with EM treatment versus PMMA without EM treatment.
