PE treatment suppressed HBsAg and HBeAg secretion. HepG2.2.15 cells were treated with or without drug at the indicated doses for 3, 6, and 9 days and hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg; (a)) and hepatitis B e-antigen (HBeAg; (b)) levels were determined by ELISA.
