A Transfer Hamiltonian Model for Devices Based on Quantum Dot Arrays

(b) Energy band scheme of the structure. The electron starts in the left lead and crosses through the dielectric matrix by tunneling processes assisted by the intermediate Qds. (c) Scheme of the equivalent electrical circuit of the device presented in (a). The Qds (circles) are connected between them and the leads (color blocks) by tunneling junctions. The tunneling junction is described as a capacitor in parallel with a current source.
