(b) Four minutes after heating starts, warming of asphalt layer surface is clearly observed and thermal gradient is formed (time stamp of data: 15.1.2013, 8:20; room temperature 20.25°C). (c) The sand layer is also warmer after the heating period of 5 hours and 4 minutes (time stamp of data: 15.1.2013, 13:20; room temperature 20.57°C).
