Wireless Networks and Mobile Communications for Internet of Things
Description
Internet of Things (IoT) has been emerging as a milestone of the evolution of Internet. In the IoT paradigm, a large number of physical objects with sensing and communication capabilities will be connected to Internet by the technologies such as wireless sensor networks, radio frequency identification (RFID), Wi-Fi, and 4G-LTE. Compared with the conventional network, IoT covers a wider range of areas, including entity tracking, object control, and privacy protection. The communication paradigms of IoT also go beyond the traditional mobile networks and need to connect different embedded devices into various scenarios. In the past few years, significant research efforts have been made on IoT. However, there are still many issues to be solved, including many challenges as the communication quality, network stability, and reliability.
