Aims and Scope
VLSI Design presents state-of-the-art papers in VLSI design, computer-aided design, design analysis, design implementation, simulation and testing. Theory as well as applications are discussed. Its scope also includes papers that address technical trends, pressing issues, and educational aspects in VLSI Design.
The journal provides a dynamic high-quality international forum for original papers and tutorials by academic, industrial, and other scholarly contributors in VLSI Design.
Submissions are invited on the following topics:
- Custom, semi-custom, ASIC, programmable circuit design
- Low-voltage, low-power, performance-driven, reliability-driven, thermally-driven, radiation-hardening design
- Processor, co-processor, multi-processor, memory design
- High-level, logic, layout and test synthesis
- Digital, analog, RF, mixed, asynchronous circuit design
- Transducer design
- Telecom, instrumentation, digital signal processing, encryption, compression, imaging applications
- Design for testability, built-in self-test
- Verification
- Technology-related design, interconnect design, very deep submicron design
- Education and curricula in design
