This one comprises a juxtamembrane domain, which binds to p120-catenin (orange), and a catenin-binding domain, which binds β-catenin (yellow). β-catenin binds to α-catenin (violet), which establishes a direct link between the cadherin-catenin complex and the actin cytoskeleton (red).
