Leszek Pazderski

Nicholas Copernicus University, Poland

Leszek Pazderski was born in 1969. He is a Polish chemist, working at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Poland. He specializes in inorganic chemistry and molecular spectroscopy, particularly in nuclear magnetic resonance of coordination compounds. The majority of his papers focus on 15N NMR of diamagnetic transition metal complexes with N-donor heterocyclic ligands and the phenomenon of NMR coordination shifts. He got an M.S. degree in chemistry in 1993 (as the best graduate of Nicolaus Copernicus University), a Ph.D. degree in inorganic chemistry, in 2000, and a Habilitation degree, in 2011. Another field of his interest is modern environmental problems (nuclear energy, climate changes, and chemical pollutions). He is an Active Consultant and Expert of some Polish and international ecological NGOs, for example, Greenpeace.
