Guillermina Ferro-Flores

Guillermina Ferro-Flores is a Researcher and Scientific Leader of the group of radiopharmacy and medical physics in nuclear medicine at the Instituto Nacional de Investigaciones Nucleares in Mexico, as well as a Professor in the M.S. and Doctorate program of Physicomathematics Sciences (medical physics) at the Instituto Politécnico Nacional, Mexico City, Mexico. She received her B.S. in pharmaceutical chemistry from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Mexico City, Mexico, and her Doctorate in Science degree in Medical Physics from the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México, Toluca, Mexico. She conducted research stays at the Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute (Department of Radioisotopes) and the University of Massachusetts Medical School (Nuclear Medicine Department), Worcester, MA, USA. Her research is focused on the development of radiolabeled probes for molecular imaging and targeted radiotherapy.
