Yuichiro Nishida serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine, Saga University (2008-present, Japan). He serves as an Exercise Physiologist and Molecular Biologist. He received his M.S. degree in physical education at Fukuoka University (1999) and Ph.D. degree in medical science at Nagoya University (2002). He did his postdoctoral research in Laval University Medical Center (2002-2005, Canada), in Pen State College of Medicine (2006, USA) and worked as a Chief Researcher in Houei Institute of Aging (2007-2008, Japan). He is conducting physiological and molecular biological investigations in the field of physical exercise and metabolic diseases, such as metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, obesity, and dyslipidemia.
