Hakki Turgay Kaptanoglu

H. Turgay Kaptanoglu received his Ph.D. degree in 1991 at the University of Wisconsin---Madison and his doctoral advisor was Walter Rudin. His research interests are function theory and operator theory on spaces of holomorphic or harmonic functions of several variables. He worked at Middle East Technical University and now is a faculty member at Bilkent University, both in Ankara, Turkey. He spent a sabbatical year in Charlottesville, VA, USA at the University of Virginia hosted by James Rovnyak with a Fulbright scholarship. He is also an editor for the journal Complex Analysis and Operator Theory whose founder and editor-in-chief is Daniel Alpay.
