Sandip Kumar SenGupta

Sandip Kumar SenGupta earned his Medical Doctorate degree from the University of Ottawa (Canada) in 1983 and was certified in general pathology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 1988. He also holds American Board certification in anatomic and clinical pathology. Currently, he is a Professor of pathology and molecular medicine at Queen's University in Kingston, Canada and also the Medical Director of Clinical Laboratories for the Southeastern Ontario Academic Health Sciences Centre. He has special interest and expertise in diagnostic breast pathology and his academic interests mirror these clinical interests. Current translational research focus is on the identification and evaluation of current and novel molecular biomarkers in breast cancer using tissue microarrays and immunohistochemistry.
