Wei Ping Hu

Wei Ping Hu obtained his Ph.D. degree in physical chemistry from the University of Minnesota in 1995. He did his postdoc research at the Scripps Research Institute from 1995 to 1997. Hu came to the Cheng Cheng University in Taiwan as an Assistant Professor in 1997 and became a Full Professor in 2006. His research areas include reaction dynamics calculation using variational transition state theory with multidimensional tunneling (VTST/MT), noble-gas chemistry, development of multilevel electronic structure calculation, and general theoretical modeling and molecules and chemical reactions.
