Paola Venditti

Paola Venditti was born in Naples, Italy, where she obtained, in the University Federico II of Naples, the degree in biological science, the Ph.D. degree in physiology, and a postdoctoral fellowship. Her actual position is aggregated Professor of the University of Naples Federico II where she teaches general physiology and free radicals and nutrition. Her research area concerns the role played by free radicals in functional modifications of tissues in physiopathological conditions inducing tissue oxidative stress such as thyroid state alterations (induced by experimental treatment with thyroid hormones or by functional activation of thyroid gland due to cold exposure), xenobiotics treatment, ischemia-reperfusion, and physical activity.
