Daniele Bibbo

Daniele Bibbo is a Research Engineer in the Biomedical Engineering Laboratory (BioLab3), Engineering Department, Roma Tre University, Rome, Italy. He received an M.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the same university (2003) and a Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from University of Bologna, Bologna, Italy (2007). Since 2008, he has been teaching in different courses of the biomedical engineering field in the Department of Engineering in Roma Tre University, with particular focus on the laboratory activities. He is currently assisting BioLab3 research and academic activities in the same department and his main research fields are design and development of new systems and instrumentation to evaluate the performance in cycling; human movement kinematic and dynamic analysis with particular focus on sports gestures and development of new technique for the performance assessment; and design and development of microcontroller-based devices for the monitoring of biomedical instrumentations performances and for the evaluation of motor activities using wearable system for human movement application. He participated in different projects on the biomedical instruments development involving private engineering companies and he is coauthor of different publications and patents in the field of biomedical engineering.
