Ameera AL Nooh serves as a Consultant Family Physician at the Public Health Directorate, Ministry Of Health, Bahrain, and a holder of M.S. degree in preventive cardiology from Imperial College London, London, UK (2012-2013). With a special interest in prevention of cardiovascular disease (CVD), Dr. AL Nooh has an active role in the Noncommunicable Disease (NCD) Unit programs and publications. She contributed in updating the national hypertension clinical guidelines and CVD prevention through NCD integration clinic protocols in Primary Health Care and participated in several NCD related community health and health promotion campaigns. Dr. AL Nooh is participating in continuous medical education programs for the nurses and the family residency program doctors and for the general public. Her researches during medical school and residency programs include demographic characteristics of Bahraini population, descriptive study of congenital heart disease in Bahrain, and demographic characteristics of elderly attending primary health centers in Bahrain.
