(2) Main Research Interests (i) Climate variations and tele-connections over South, East and South-east Asia (ii) Tele-connections : Indian monsoon and El Nino Southern Oscillation, Eurasian Snow and Indian Ocean Dipole (iii) Role of intra-seasonal oscillations in seasonal monsoon strength (iv) Science of Climate change and Asian monsoon variability in coupled climate model simulations and projections (v) Applications of Statistics in Atmospheric Research (3) Visits Abroad Have been a visiting scientist in Max Planck Institute of Meteorology, Germany .
