Mickaël Lallart

Mickaël Lallart was born in France in 1983. He graduated from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon (INSA Lyon), Lyon, France, in electrical engineering in 2006, and received his Ph.D. degree in electronics, electrotechnics, and automatics from the INSA de Lyon, Lyon, France in 2008, where he worked for the Laboratoire de Génie Electrique et Ferroélectricité. After working as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Center for Intelligent Material Systems and Structures in Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Va, USA in 2009, Dr. Lallart has been hired as an Associate Professor in the Laboratoire de Génie Electrique et Ferroélectricité. His current field of interest focuses on vibration damping and energy harvesting and Structural Health Monitoring using electroactive materials such as piezoelectric, pyroelectric or electrostrictive materials, as well as modeling issues and autonomous, self-powered wireless systems.
