Piotr Dobrzynski

Piotr Dobrzynski received his M.S. degree at the Mathematical-Physical–Chemical Department of Silesian University in Katowice in 1982. Since 1986, he has been involved in research work at the Center of Polymer and Carbon Materials of Polish Academy of Sciences, where he is employed until today as an Associate Professor. He received his Ph.D. degree in 1999 from the Department of Chemistry of Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, and his D.S. degree (habilitation) in 2009 from the University of Technology in Warsaw. Since 2009, he has been an Professor at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa, where he teaches chemical technology and engineering of biomaterials. His research interests and expertise include synthesis and chemistry of biodegradable and bioresorbable polymers, chemistry of biopolymers, polymeric biomaterials application, and coordination-insertion mechanisms of ROP reactions.
