Humberto González-Díaz is an Ikerbasque Professor with a Ph.D. degree in organic chemistry, 2005, University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), Santiago de Compostela, Spain. González-Díaz is a Senior Research Professor with Hirsch index (H-index) = 45 for 2015, >200 publications, and >170 indexed research papers, according to JCR of ISI reported by Web of Science, as well as >10 Ph.D. degree theses supervised, 2 patents (1 nanoscience and 1 medicinal chemistry), and >10 software programs developed, as a result of more than ten years of research experience in teaching, research, scientific publication, and/or scientific editorial actions in collaboration with groups of EU, USA, China, and India. González-Díaz has been ranked in the top 2 positions of medicinal chemistry researchers in Spain according to the H-index and between the top 100 positions of the Publons worldwide rank for editors and reviewers out of >50000 researchers and >18000 journals. Research line includes application of network sciences and data analysis tools to the study of structure-property relationships in molecular structures, biological networks and complex systems in cheminformatics, bioinformatics, medical informatics, systems biology, neurosciences, nanosciences, omics, ecology, and epidemiology.
