Tripier Raphael

Raphael Tripier was born in Dijon in 1972. He studied chemistry at the Dijon University. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in 2000 working under the supervision of Professors Roger Guilard and Franck Denat. He then joined Professor Bünzlis’ Group at the Lausanne University (now EPFL) as a Postdoctoral Fellow supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation (2000–2001). He was appointed as a CNRS Researcher at the University of Brest in 2001 (UMR CNRS 6521). In 2011, he was promoted to a Full Professor at the University of Brest and the Head of the research group “Nitrogen Chelates: Health and Materials.” His research interests comprise the organic synthesis in azamacrocyclic chemistry and the application of such ligands in coordination chemistry.
