Inyeong Choi serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Physiology at Emory University, Atlanta, GA, USA. He received an undergraduate degree in biology from Korea University, an M.S. degree in genetics from the University of Minnesota, and a Ph.D. degree in developmental biology from the University of Wisconsin. He was a postdoctoral fellow at Yale. The main research he conducts is molecular and cellular physiology of sodium-bicarbonate transporters. He has the expertise in structure/function analysis of ion channels and transporters, protein-protein interaction, regulation, and pathology. His research is related to acidosis-related neuronal damage, renal acidosis, and kidney disease.
