Eitan Rubin is a Faculty Member at the Shraga Segal Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Genetics at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Beersheba, Israel. Prior to this position he was the Head of Bioinformatics at the Bauer Center for Genomics Research at Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, USA, and the Head of Bioinformatics at Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot, Israel. He holds a Ph.D. degree from Weizmann Institute of Science and a B.S. degree from Ben-Gurion University. Dr. Rubin published extensively in the wide range of topics in the area of bioinformatics, from alternative splicing in plants to immune response to cancer. In recent years his work has been focused on utilizing and developing bioinformatics tools to improve precision cancer medicine.
