Linqin Cai received the Ph.D. degree in pattern recognition and intelligence system from the School of Information, University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, China, in 2007. He is currently a Professor at the School of Automation, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Chongqing, China, and the Vice Head of the Complex Analysis and Control Research Center, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications. He has been a Visiting Professor at the Advanced Robotics and Intelligent Systems Laboratory, University of Guelph, Guelph, ON, Canada, from August 2011 to July 2012. His current research interests include complex system modeling and simulation, intelligence computation, and multiagent systems. Cai has been granted several projects by the Chinese Government and published over 20 papers in related international journals and conferences. He has served as a reviewer of several international journals and a program committee member of several international conferences.
