Min Yong Jeon

Min Yong Jeon received the B.S. degree from Han Yang University, Seoul, Korea, in 1988, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, Korea, in 1990 and 1994, respectively, all in physics. He has been working at the Chungmam National University, Daejeon, Korea, as an Associate Professor of physics since 2003. Prior to joining Chung Nam University, he worked in the area of optical router as a Research Scientist at the University of California Davis. From 1994 to 2001, he worked in the area of the optical network subsystem at the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), Daejeon, Korea. His current research interests include optical coherence tomography, wavelength swept laser, optical fiber sensors, and optical terahertz wave generation. He is a Member of the Optical Society of America (OSA).
