Christos Tsadilas

Christos D. Tsadilas National Agricultural Research Foundation (NAGREF), Institute of Soil Mapping and Classification (ISMC), Larissa, Greece Christos Tsadilas was born in Larissa, Greece, in 1950. He received the bachelor degree in Agronomy, Master degree in Soil Mapping and Classification, and the Ph. D. degree in Soil Chemistry from the Agricultural University of Athens, Greece in 1975, 1986, and 1990 respectively. Since 2000, C. Tsadilas is senior researcher and from 2004 Director of the NAGREF-ISMC, and since 2010 Director of the Institutes of Plant Protection of Volos, Greece and Institute of Pasture and Fodder Crops, Larissa, Greece. His recent main scientific interests are on soil pollution and remediation, waste management, and precision agriculture techniques for irrigation and fertilization. He served as president of the Hellenic Soil Science Society from 2006 to 2010. He was associate editor of the journals Environmental Pollution and presently of the journal Communications in Soil Science and Plant Analysis, member of many scientific societies, and reviewer of several scientific journals.
