Pong Mo Yuen
Pong Mo Yuen, M.D., serves currently as the Director of minimally invasive gynecology at Hong Kong Sanatorium and Hospital in Hong Kong. He works also as the Honorary Clinical Associate Professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He served as the Consultant and Head of Gynecological Endoscopy at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Prince of Wales Hospital since 1996. He pioneered the work on gnecological endoscopic surgery in Hong Kong and is an internationally renowned expert in this area. He is actively involved in many international and local conferences and workshops, especially in China and South East Asia. He was appointed as an Honorary Professor and Consultant in 9 hospitals in China and served as an Editor and a Reviewer in various international and national journals. He received the Endoscopics Award from China in 2005 and Endos Award in Medical Science and Technology in 2009. He was the Founding Board Member and Past President of the Hong Kong Gynecological Endoscopy Society and the Asia Pacific Association for Gynecologic Endoscopy and Minimally Invasive Therapy (APAGE), a Board Member of the International Society for Gynecological Endoscopy (ISGE), and an International Advisor of the American Association for Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL). He has published over 100 articles in peer-reviewed journals and 4 books in gynecological endoscopy.
