Alexander B. Konovalov

Alexander B. Konovalov graduated from the Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation in the field of electrical engineering. He received his Ph.D. degree in biophysics from the Chernyshevsky Saratov State University, Saratov, Russia. He is now working in the area of image reconstruction as a Senior Researcher at the Russian Federal Nuclear Center, Zababakhin Institute of Applied Physics, Snezhinsk, Russia. He is the group leader of few-view computed tomography group at the same institution. His current research interests include signal and image processing, medical imaging, and biomedical optics. He has authored more than 30 reviewed papers and book chapters in these areas. He is a Member of OSA.
