Panagiotis Oulis, a holder of the M.D., Ph.D., and M.P.H. degrees, is an Associate Professor of psychiatry at the First Department of Psychiatry (Eginition Hospital) of the Athens University Medical School (Greece). He studied medicine, psychiatry, health economics, and philosophy of science in Athens and Paris and has completed the Ph.D. studies on both psychiatry and philosophy. His main areas of competence are clinical psychopathology, philosophy, and methodology of psychiatry and clinical psychopharmacology. He has written six books on these topics (in Modern Greek), and he is the author or coauthor of more than 100 papers in national and international peer-reviewed journals.
