Santanu Saha Ray currently works as an Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematics, National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, India. Dr. Saha Ray received his Ph.D. degree in 2008 from Jadavpur University, India. He received his M.C.A. degree in 2001 from Bengal Engineering College, Shibpur, Howrah, India. He received his M.S. degree in applied mathematics from Calcutta University in 1998 and B.S. degree (with Honors) in mathematics from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, in 1996. He has about 12 years of teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has also more than 10 years of research experience in various fields of applied mathematics. He has published several research papers in numerous fields and various international journals like Transaction ASME Journal of Applied Mechanics, Annals of Nuclear Energy, Physica Scripta, and Applied Mathematics and Computation. He serves as a Member of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) and the American Mathematical Society (AMS). He worked as the Principal Investigator of the BRNS research project granted by BARC, Mumbai, India. Currently, Dr. Saha Ray serves as a Principal Investigator of a research project financed by DST, the Government of India.
