Rana Chattopadhyay, holder of the Ph.D. degree in parasitology, works at present as Regulatory Biologist at Office of Vaccines Research & Review, Center for Biologics Evaluation & Research, US Food & Drug Administration. Chattopadhyay has more than 20 years of research experience in parasitology out of which 14 years in different aspects of malaria research like epidemiology, molecular pathogenesis, immunology, functional genomics and antigen discovery, assay development, animal model, manufacturing of malaria vaccine under cGMP, and so on. Chattopadhyay conducted malaria research at International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), New Delhi, India, Naval Medical Research Center, MD, USA, Sanaria Inc., MD, USA, and US Food & Drug Administration, MD, USA.
