Young Hak Kim

Young Hak Kim received the Doctor of Medicine in 1996 from Kobe University, Kobe, Japan, and the Ph.D. degree in 2011 from Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan. He worked from 1996 to 1997 at Kobe University as a Medical Intern and as a Clinical Fellow from 1999 to 2002 at the Department of Respiratory and Cardiovascular Medicine. He worked from 2007 to 1999 as a Medical Intern at Takatsuki General Hospital, Osaka, Japan. Kim has served at the National Cancer Center Hospital East, Kashiwa, Japan, as a Resident at the Department of Thoracic Oncology (from 2002 to 2005) and as a Senior Resident at the Department of Thoracic Oncology (from 2005 to 2007). He is currently working at the Department of Respiratory Medicine, Kyoto University, Japan, as an Assistant Professor. Kim is a Member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer, and the European Society of Medical Oncology. He has received several board certifications including the Japanese Board of Internal Medicine, the Japanese Board of Respiratory Medicine, and the Japanese Board of Cancer Therapy.
