Malgorzata Syczewska The Children’s Memorial Health Institute (CMHI), Poland Malgorzata Syczewska was born in Warsaw, Poland. He received the Master degree and the Ph.D. degree from the Warsaw University of Technology, Warsaw, Poland, in 1985 and 1991, respectively. Since 1989, M.Syczewska is with Dept. Paediatric Rehabilitation, The Children’s Memorial Health Institute. In 1993 she spent three months in Dept. Biomechanics and Orthopaedics Technology, University College of Health Sciences in Jönköping, Sweden (her stay was supported by The Swedish Institute). In 1996, 1998 and 1999 she was a visiting professor at Southern Illinois University, Springfield, USA. Presently, she is head of Kinesiology Lab at CMHI. She is mainly interested in clinical biomechanics, clinical movement analysis, motor control, objective evaluation of abnormal muscle tone. She is member of Polish Society of Biomechanics and European Society for Movement Analysis of Adults and Children (ESMAC). In 2004 she co-organized 13th Meeting of ESMAC in Warsaw, Poland.
