William Haynes

William Haynes, who holds an M.D. degree, serves as a Professor of medicine and Director of Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Iowa. Dr. Haynes has expertise in cardiovascular risk factors including hypertension, hyperlipidemia, obesity, and atherosclerosis. He has been an Investigator in multiple clinical trials of novel therapies for these conditions, including drugs targeting the renin-angiotensin system, endothelin, oxidant stress, and obesity/metabolic syndrome.
