Junwu Wang

Junwu Wang obtained his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees, all in chemical engineering, from the Zhejiang University of Technology, Zhejiang, China (2000), Tianjin University, Tianjin, China (2003), and IPE, CAS (2008), respectively. He is a Professor at the State Key Laboratory of Multiphase Complex Systems, Institute of Process Engineering (IPE), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Beijing, China. From February 2008 to July 2010, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow working with Professor J. A. M. Kuipers and Dr. Martin van der Hoef at the University of Twente, Enschede, The Netherlands. He was a recipient of the Hundred Talents Program awarded by IPE, CAS, and a Member of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association, CAS. He sits on the Editorial Boards of the Journal of Powder Technology and Advances in Mechanical Engineering. He has authored more than 50 publications and patents. His research interests are in the area of fluidization technology, computational multiphase fluid dynamics, multiscale method, and mesoscale science.
