Massimo A. Picardello

Massimo A. Picardello works as a Full Professor in mathematical analysis at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Rome, Italy. Picardello received the B.S. degree in physics from the University of Genoa, Genoa, Italy, in 1972; the B.S. degree in mathematics from the same university in 1976; and the Ph.D. degree in mathematics from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD, USA, in 1979. He was an Assistant Professor and Lecturer from 1975 to 1980 at the University of Perugia, Perugia, Italy, and the University of Rome, Rome, Italy. His research areas include abstract harmonic analysis and group representation theory, Fourier analysis, Markov chains, and potential theory. Picardello is the author of more than 60 papers in mathematical journals and the author or editor of more than 10 scientific books.
