Gunnar Nyman

Gunnar Nyman received his M.S. degree in chemistry from the University of California at San Diego, Calif, USA, in 1982, and Ph.D. degree in physical chemistry on a thesis entitled “Dynamical and statistical behavior of long-lasting molecular interactions” in 1987. He held many postdoctoral positions at the Australian Defense Force Academy, Canberra, Australia (1987), University of Sydney, Sydney, Australia (1987-1988), and Cambridge University, UK (1992–1994). Since 2001, he has been a Professor of physical chemistry at the University of Gothenburg. His areas of expertise include computational chemical kinetics and reaction dynamics with a special interest in astrochemistry.
