Gilles Durrieu

Gilles Durrieu received a B.S. degree in mathematics in 1992 and an M.S. degree in mathematics in 1994. He received his Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics from the University of Bordeaux, France, in 1997. He is a Professor of statistics at the University of South Brittany and the Head of the Probability and Statistics Research Department. His research interests are in nonparametric statistics, smoothing methods, robust statistics, sequential statistics, data mining, and statistical modeling of environmental, chemistry, and biological problems. Durrieu has published a number of research articles and has been invited to give presentations and seminars in different places. From 1999 to 2010, he was an Associate Professor at the University of Bordeaux.
