Hussein A. Kazem received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Technology (UOT), Baghdad, Iraq, and Ph.D. degree from Newcastle University (NCL), Tyne and Wear, UK. In 2002, he became a Lecturer and then Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, Sohar University, Sohar, Oman. Also, he is a referee and organizer for many international conferences and Editor of Bonfring International Journals. He has authored several publications on electrical engineering, including more than 100 papers published in scientific journals and conferences, some 40 invited talks, and four books in power electronics, electrical machines, and photovoltaic and renewable energy.
