Jiahui Yu

Jiahui Yu obtained his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees at Wuhan University, Wuchang, Hubei, China, from 1990 to 2000, and then completed his postdoctoral studies at Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Science, China. He moved to Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics, Chinese Academy of Science, in 2003, and worked as a Senior Research Scientist. In 2005, he took up a position at the Institutes for Advanced Interdisciplinary Research, East China Normal University. From 2007 to 2008, he worked with Professor Chong-Su Cho at Seoul National University as a Senior Visiting Scholar. His scientific interests are in the application of nanotechnology for advanced therapy and diagnosis of human severe diseases with emphases on the development of novel gene carriers, antitumor drug delivery systems, MRI contrast agents, and tissue engineering materials. He has published more than 70 papers, patents, and books.
