Wasim S. Khan is a Clinical Lecturer in trauma and orthopaedics at the Institute of Orthopaedics and Musculoskeletal Sciences, University College London, London, UK, and a Specialist Registrar in trauma and orthopaedics at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, UK. He completed an M.S. degree in orthopaedic engineering and a Ph.D. degree in biomedical sciences. He has authored over 200 papers, 30 chapters, and 3 books, and he held fellowships with the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Osteosynthesefragen (AO Trauma Foundation), Medical Research Council, the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and the British Orthopaedic Research Society. His current research interests include orthopaedics, trauma, and stem cell biology.
