Juan G. Chediack is a holder of the Ph.D. degree in biological sciences and Professor at National University of San Luis, San Luis, Argentina. He is currently the course Coordinator for cellular biology. His research integrates physiology, biochemistry, and cellular biology in an ecological framework with interest in applications in animal health. It is a multidisciplinary approach to understand how mechanistic processes operate within the larger context of whole organism performance in nature. It means how animals interact with the environment and how flexible they are to natural or man-made perturbations. His current work focuses on how the nonmigratory birds fixed the energy requirements in stressful conditions (i.e., fasting), mainly on the mechanisms of nutrient digestion and health conditions by hematological and biochemical parameters.
