Adriana Greco CURRICULUM VITAE Biographical Notes • Born in Naples on 7th August 1968. • Degree cum laude in Chemical Engineering at University of Naples Federico II on 1994. • Prize-winner of “Premio Nazionale KUWAIT Raffinazione e Chimica” on 1994 as best Italian student in Chemical Engineering. University Career • PhD in Thermo-Mechanical Systems Engineering at the University of Naples Federico II on 1997. • Assistant Professor of Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Naples Federico II (1999 – 2005). • Associate Professor of Applied Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Naples Federico II since 2005. Research activity The research activity has been developed in the field of the Termodynamics Applied and the Heat Transfer. The scientific activity is related to following arguments: • Energetic and exergetic analysis of vapour compression plants. • Refrigerant fluids. • Convective condensation. • Convective boiling. • Magnetocaloric effect for refrigeration applications. Other activities • Member of the board of examiners for the admission to the Research Doctorate. • Member of the board of examiners for the list of Assistant Professor and of Associate Professor. • Member of committee for the final test of Research Doctorate. • Reviewer for international journals (Applied Thermal Engineering, International Journal of Refrigeration, Heat and Mass Transfer, Experimental Thermal and Fluid Science, International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer). • Member of the Editorial Board of the International Review of Mechanical Engineering (IREME).
