Antonio M. Cegarra

Antonio M. Cegarra received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Granada, Granada, Spain, in 1980. In 1989, he earned a permanent position as a Professor at the Department of Algebra at the same university, where he presently serves. His research interests are mainly focused on category theory, homological algebra, and algebraic homotopy theory, with objectives significant not only by themselves but also by the applications they may have in algebra, geometry, and topology. He is a Member of the Editorial Boards of the Extracta Mathematicae, the Journal of Homotopy and Related Structures, the Open Mathematical Journal, ISRN Geometry, and Algebra.
