Cesare Battaglia

Cesare Battaglia was born on January 26, 1957, and obtained his M.D. degree from the University of Siena, Italy in 1983 and his ICOG and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy in 1988 and 1997, respectively. He is currently working as an Academic Researcher and Head of the Gynecol-Endocrinol Ultrasonographic Center, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Alma Mater Studiorum, University of Bologna, Italy. Dr. Battaglia holds an honorary fellowship at The Croatian Association of Societies for Ultrasound in medicine and biology. Moreover, he is a memeber of 7 national and 11 international scientific societies. He is also the refree of 3 national and 28 international journals, the chairman of 22 national and 23 international congresses, and the scientific secretariat of 3 national and 7 international meetings. In 1987, he won the Award of Esaote Biomedica for outstanding scientific merit, and in 1988, he won the “Amalia Griffini” international award. Furthermore, he won awards in clinical emergiencie during the period from 1989 till 1992.
