Lourdes Trujillo serves as a Professor at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. She holds several degrees in economics and education including an MBA degree from Business Institute of Madrid and a Ph.D. degree in economics. She teaches in undergraduate and graduate (including M.S. and Ph.D. students) courses regarding the productivity and efficiency measurement for utilities and transport. She has participated in World Bank operational mission and report, in African Development Bank report, and in Inter American Development Bank report. She currently also does research in the Economics of Infrastructures and Transport Group. She specializes in the study of production, efficiency, and performance applied to the transport, in particular port sector and network industries.
