Xiaojun Wang

Xiaojun Wang was born in 1978. He received his Ph.D. degree of solid mechanics in the Beihang University (China) in April 2006. He finished his postdoctoral research at the Department of Aircraft in the Beihang University from May 2006 to April 2008. He became an Associate Professor in the Institute of Solid Mechanics and the School of Aeronautical Science and Engineering at the same university. In July 2011, he was approved for the qualifications for the doctor supervisor in the major of solid mechanics. His areas of expertise include computational mechanics, structural reliability, structural damage identification and health monitoring, structural loads identification, and uncertainty problems in mechanics and structural dynamics. He was responsible for a national natural science foundation project, a national defense basic research project, a special research foundation for doctoral academic of colleges and universities project, a China postdoctoral science foundation project, and more than ten national defense projects. He won the Second Prize for Natural Science Award from the Ministry of Education in 2008 and got the Blue Sky Rookie award of the Beihang University in 2008. Has published one monograph and is publishing two monographs. He published more than 70 articles in domestic and foreign famous magazines, such as the Journal of Applied Mechanics, the International Journal of Solids and Structures, the Journal of Sound and Vibration, the Acta Mechanica, the Communications in Numerical Methods in Engineering, the Chinese Journal of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, and the Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica. 27 papers of his were recorded by the SCI Library and 43 papers were recorded by the EI Library. His research achievements are approved by peers, and his papers were cited by more than 200 times (included 143 times by SCI).
